Wendy and Alison’s Great Walk
Wendy and Alison are now halfway through their incredible six-week journey along the Camino del Norte, with over 400 kilometres behind them. Week three brought dramatic sea views, changing skies and plenty of hot chocolate as they made their way from Santander to Ribadesella. Every step is helping raise vital funds for Good Company.

A Summer’s Day at the Cricket
We were delighted to return to Rotherfield Cricket Club for a special Good Company cricket day filled with sunshine, laughter and community spirit. With proper “Queen teas,” a lively raffle, and friendships old and new, it was a joyful reminder of what connection really looks like. Thanks to everyone who came, donated, or helped make the day what it was. Together we raised over £1,000 to support our clubs and circles.

A Most Unusual Fundraiser
When our CEO turned up in jeans to a formal lunch hosted by The Pickwick Bicycle Club, she quickly realised this was no ordinary fundraiser. With bowler hats, Dickensian aliases and penny farthings in tow, the world’s oldest cycling club raised an incredible £3,210 for The Good Company People. It was a great reminder that support can come from the most unexpected places.

A Local Cinema with a Big Heart: Thank You Pine Grove Pictures
We’re so grateful to Pine Grove Pictures for their recent £300 donation, raised through a community screening of Walk the Line. The event brought people together for a brilliant evening of film, fun and fundraising — with The Good Company People chosen as one of three local charities to benefit. It’s a perfect example of how community cinema can do so much more than show a great film.
