The Know-How

Videos: Everyday Support

Sometimes the most important support happens in ordinary moments.

Walking together. Helping someone up from a chair. Getting in and out of a car. Knowing what to do if someone becomes unsteady.

We created these short films to share simple, practical techniques that help people feel safe, confident and supported while protecting dignity and independence.

Originally filmed for our team and volunteers, we are sharing them more widely in case they are helpful for carers, families and community groups too.

The videos are practical, approachable and grounded in real life, with plenty of Good Company warmth and humour along the way. Enjoy!
