Why did you join Good Company?

To play piano for a sing-a-long at the first Supper Club, which then became a monthly Supper Club, and now I’m volunteering too!

What is your professional background?

I qualified as a chartered accountant while working for PwC, specialising in the insurance industry including two years overseas. After leaving practice, I helped start up two insurance companies in the Lloyd’s market.

I left the insurance market in 2020 and has now volunteering for Good Company.

What does Good Company mean to you?

An amazing charity which provides huge support for so many people living with dementia and their carers, as well as providing a relaxed informal space at their various clubs for people to meet and do so many activities.

What are your hobbies and interests?

Music, cycling, kayaking

How would your friends describe you?

Fairly tall.

Can you share something interesting that not many people know about you?

I grow trombocinos at home. (We had to look that one up - it's a type of squash!)

What's your favourite cake?

Warm chocolate fudge cake.
