Why did you join Good Company?

I met Lucy who was giving a talk; her energy, passion for her project and her enthusiasm was infectious.

What is your professional background?

I am retired now but have worked in my village school as a Special Needs Assistant on a 1-1 basis. I also worked as a Support Worker with people with learning difficulties and head injuries.

What does Good Company mean to you?

It means a lot because I have seen how carers and people with varying degrees of difficulties flourish in a caring and social setting.

What are your hobbies and interests?

I love walking, reading, cooking and craft projects.

How would your friends describe you?

Oooh! I don’t know and wouldn’t like to say. Hopefully they would say that I am a good listener. I am blessed to have a lot of friends. Someone once said … to have a friend you have to be a friend.

What's your favourite cake?

Carrot cake.
