Why did you join Good Company?

I retired recently and wanted to find something I could do which involves meeting new people which has the added benefit of being able to help other people in need in a small way too.

What does Good Company mean to you?

It is a great organisation which shows respect and kindness to its members along with giving them endless, genuine support. The enthusiasm and inspiration that comes from the staff is very contagious!

What are your hobbies and interests?

I love pottery, particularly throwing pots on a wheel. I make sourdough bread and enjoy carpentry. I am also ‘the staff’ to two labradors and two cats.

How would your friends describe you?

Apparently I have ‘a kind heart’

Can you share something interesting that not many people know about you?

I was once chased by a lion in Tanzania.

What's your favourite cake?

A good homemade Bakewell Cake! Fortunately my wife, Harriet makes such a thing.
