Emma's sense of humour, empathy and brilliant listenings skills made Emma a natural choice as one of our first Good Company Hosts.
She draws on her wide variety of interests including photography, cooking, baking, gardening, and crafting to organise very stimulating, purposeful and creative sessions. She enjoys strong bonds with her three guests and Emma says she notices a big difference when they’re with her.
"Every session includes a trip out and about exploring and returning to my home for a delicious home-cooked meal. We are all quite creative so we spend the afternoon doing arts and crafts of cooking something special for Guests to take back home"
Emma Collie, Good Company Host
Every Good Company session entails Emma and her guests exploring different local sights including Dunorlan Park, Bewl Water, Wilderness Woods, Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest and RSPB Broadwater Warren with her Labrador Danny and Bichon Cross Maisie followed by a coffee before returning home for lunch and an afternoon activity.
